We are happy to announce the NEW Deaf Mentor program is officially up and running. If you are interested in working with one of our trained mentors, a great resource for our Delaware families, a request can be made through Delaware Hands & Voices. We are all excited to begin this program and get families matched!

Deaf Community Surf Day! (Rehoboth Beach, DE)

Date: July 22nd, 2021
Time: 11:30am – 2:30pm 
Where: Delaware Seashore State Park, Indian River Inlet, North-Side.  39183 Inlet Rd., Rehoboth Beach DE 19971
Special note:  This event is free, however there is a $10 parking fee.  Please arrive at least an hour early for parking (it is limited) and set-up.

All friends and family members of the participants are encouraged to come hang-out, socialize, and enjoy the fun of surfing.  Bring your favorite beach supplies and make a day of it!  Surf lessons for beginners are FREE, however participants MUST sign up prior to the event (register by clicking the button below).  Boards, surf instructors, and ASL interpreters are provided for this event. This is an all-inclusive event designed for all types of hearing loss.  If you don’t sign – no worries!  Please bring a towel, sunscreen, a rash-guard shirt if you prefer to wear one, hydration, and a snack.  Feel free to invite others to hang-out on the beach and cheer you on!  We look forward to connecting and spreading the stoke!
